Stopped!First action taken in my pursuit of stopping the selling of replicas under false pretences.  First E-bay auction ended!I was up one evening, husband at work, and was piddling around on E-bay. I decided to start looking for another LV bag. Hum, so many choices. I started looking around. One hour passed.... I was having problems finding only REAL Louis Vuitton items. I was getting upset. Then I came across the one I would fire upon. I clicked my laptop touch-pad, "Ask the seller a question". Took a deep breath. This was the last straw. This was a Speedy 30 Murakami Multicolore bag, that was UNBELIEBABLY fake. Took another deep breath.... and another one. Then I started to type. Below is the banter that we had together over the next hour. |

Me- Yes, because the item IS NOT authentic. Louis Vuitton has standard quality. Let me just share why it's not authentic. LV monograms are aligned perfectly on ALL bags and done so in a specific fashion. Key sign of fakes? The monogram to the top right of LV monogram is the same color as the monogram. I true Murakami Speedy DOES NOT have an interior pocket like that, especially with a zipper, and look at the patina of the bag. That was a REAL question and I wanted to know what you had to back up the authenticity of your item.
(Edit- I thought the pocket had a zipper, but who cares look at it! It's still wrong.)

Me- I did say monogram several times and to the educated individual who doesn't use profanity in every other word, it makes perfect sense. Asking you how you can prove the authenticity is a perfectly legitimate question. Second of all, that is fine, you have been reported to ebay for replica merchandise. Me- No, I just have a problem with people taking trademarked merchandise, replicating it, and taking money for items of luxury from perfectly unsuspecting people. All of these auctions make it difficult for people to search out authentic merchandise for purchase. Taking money for fake merchandise is inexcusable and despicable.
