| LOV Seller List | There was a member of our message board that was found to be selling/buying fakes. This person also had a ebay About Me page which connected to a LV Authentication page. This page was filled with information and pictures of blatant fake Louis Vuitton. That member was sent emails requesting information to authenticate these items or to remove them as soon as possible or she would be banned. No response was received. This member was banned from our message boards.
This member was also a "Seller Elite" on the LOV (Lovers of Vuitton) message boards. We immediately sent emails explaining our side and our stance against replica items. Due to the inability of their management to handle the situation we did not find to our satisfaction, we disassociated our message boards from LOV. By doing this, we banned the Administrators from using our board.
Here at FLALV we have a STRICT anti-counterfeit policy. We do believe if you have a "seller elite" list, that it must be monitored continuously and must always protect the consumer. Period. Here at FLALV we are very expedient when handling these kind of situations. We tolerate nothing less than AUTHENTIC merchandise. Our credibility and honor is on the line. |
| Cerises Speedy 25 | Happy Endings! Well, after many reports (Police, Internet Fraud Commission, PayPal, and eBay) the full amount was refunded!
We filed a dispute immediately with PayPal because the seller said she would not refund the payment that we needed just get the package and check it out in person. It was explained to her that it was completely obvious that the item was a counterfeit. She didn't let down though. So the report was filed. Her immediate response to the dispute was that she already shipped the item. (Even though when we communicated with her, she claimed to have the item in her hands.) The night before we received the "package", she emailed my husband several times saying we just needed to take the purse to LV when we received it. These emails were of course ignored. The next morning, the mail courier brought the "package". We took pictures before and after, something just didn't seem right. We received.... a bag of Peanuts!!! Not even the styrofoam kind,,,, they were the edible kind!
To make a long story short. A refund was provided through PayPal approximately 7 days later!
Moral of the story! Don't give up! If you are a victim of fraud. Contact all people involved that can help you! Follow up with them. Make sure you get all forms filed. Take pictures and copy any information that was involved! |

Well, as proof it can happen to EVERYBODY, my husband was attempting to buy a Cerises Speedy 25 as a gift for me. FAKE! Luckily, e-mailed me the pictures soon after he bought it. I told him it was a replica, but that still did not stop the drama! I will update this when the saga ends! Stay tuned... |
